Safari welcomes Michelle Norell as the new Business Development Manager in Client Services
BOSTON—June 15, 2015—Safari, is proud to announce the hiring of Michelle Norell as Business Development Manager. Michelle will join the Client Services team and head up all sales and marketing efforts associated with Safari’s PubFactory platform. PubFactory is an award-winning platform for books, reference works, and journals, that includes custom publishing capabilities, social networking features, and flexible revenue models that create a compelling, streamlined online user experience.
Prior to joining Safari, Michelle was Director of Sales at Atypon Systems Inc. Her more than 9 years of scholarly publishing experience in sales, marketing, and editorial roles at both publishing organizations and technology service providers, along with her volunteer work for leading scholarly associations and election to the Board of Directors for the Society for Scholarly Publishing, has earned Michelle respect in the publishing industry and prepared her well for the sales leadership role she will play within the Safari PubFactory team.
