SAGE Research Methods Online

Goals

Research methods had long been a core part of SAGE's history, so in their 45th year, the goal was to advance their research programs by developing a dynamic, new online product. Having also built SAGE's Reference Online program, the environment was familiar to the PubFactory team, and the goal was to make more than 100,000 pages of SAGE's leading book and reference material on research methods available through this exciting online portal.

Solution

Combining innovation and user-focused design, we developed advanced search and discovery tools to support researchers as they explore relevant content across social and behavioral sciences, covering quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods.

The tools and modules we created such as the 'Methods Map', present a deep and complicated data structure in an exciting way.
