When migrations occur, they can range from bumpy to catastrophic. They are disparate and rarely seamless experiences. This is despite the considerable preparation on the part of librarians, publishers, and platform vendors. The NISO Content Platform Migration Working Group was formed to address these stakeholder challenges. This session will feature librarian, publisher, and platform vendor experiences and perspectives on this topic. Members of the Working Group will also share the efforts to-date, key outcomes, and lessons learned during drafting the NISO Recommend Practice.
